Project Description:

The project proposed is basically a combined cooling unit (CCU) which combines both air-conditioning and refrigeration. This unit operates with a mutual compressor. The unit’s figure was inspired from the existing air-conditioning unit used nowadays in Kuwait . This air-conditioning unit has a figure of refrigerator; hence, the CCU was developed to be both an air-conditioner and a refrigerator. The advantages of CCU are represented by the use of one compressor to run both the air-conditioner and refrigerator and therefore reduce the electricity consumed when compared with that of operating both appliances individually.
